Results of the exhibition Tech Industry 2019

FEZ Administration took part in a specialized exhibition Tech Industry 2019 which was held in Riga on 28-30 of November.

An official opening ceremony of the International Industrial Exhibition Tech Industry 2019 and the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus took place on the 28th of November 2019.

Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Latvia Mr Alexei Matyukhevich, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of Latvia Mr Eriks Eglitis, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking of Latvia Mr Vilnis Rantynsh, Executive Director of the Society for Assistance to Latvian-Belarusian Economic Relations Mrs Vera Yaroshchik, and also general director of the International Exhibition Center Mr Vestur Piele, members of the Belarusian delegation, and other representatives of the diplomatic corps and business circles attended the opening ceremony of the National Exposition.

Representatives of the Embassy and the Ministry of Economy of Latvia also got acquainted with the booth of FEZ Gomel-Raton. Possibilities of informational collaboration and product promotion of resident enterprises of FEZ on the market of the Baltic region were discussed.

The Belarusian-Latvian business forum was held as a part of the exhibition. Head of Administration Mrs Yazhova spoke to attendees about an investment climate of FEZ Gomel-Raton. Interested representatives of Latvian business circles were able to discuss their projects.

Issues of doing business in the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Belarus, and the possibilities of cooperation between enterprises of the two countries were discussed within the framework of the forum.

Representatives of FEZ Administration took part in the seminar on the 29th of November. The theme was “Development of the industrial sector in the Baltic region”. It was organized by the Latvian Association of Engineering and Metalworking. Participants of the seminar were discussing trends in the metalworking and engineering sectors, market potential of three countries, prospects and directions for further development of the industry.

FEZ Administration had negotiations with the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Mr Vilnis Rantynsh. They were talking about potential areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. A visit to Gomel for Latvian business circles was discussed.

A number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of business circles of Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Estonia, Finland and other countries took place at the booth of FEZ Administration. All of that contributes to the establishment of new business contacts in all areas of trade and economic cooperation and the promotion of FEZ Gomel-Raton brand abroad.
